Artist Statement I started shooting film in grade school where I learned my way around a darkroom. I took photography classes in high school and college, but majored in Film Production at the University of California, Santa Cruz. I lived for a while in London, England where I worked as a PA for a local production company. For a job there, I had the opportunity to travel to China, Malaysia, South Africa, and New York City. I also did some traveling in France, so I will be posting shots from these various cities. As I am now living in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, I also have many shots of various mountain ridges, waterfalls, etc. taken in the area and at Yosemite National Park. I recently got a Canon 30d DSLR, but also shoot negative and slide film in my Nikon F2 and Nikkormats.
