Description This is an Abstract oil and acrylic painting using two canvases. I used palette Knife to paint the trees. I like the texture with layers of oil. Sometimes when you are in a dark place if you keep moving forward there is light on the other side of the mountain. You enen have the option of splitting them up an placing each one on a different.
Wilma Tyler Member Since July 2008 Artist Statement Welcome, Thank you for visiting and viewing my artwork art I started making art pieces after a stroke. It was therapeutic and gave me expression. I have all ways painted from grade school off and on. It has become more after the disability. Some of my original art piece are in many parts of the US. Although I am more abstract, I love landscapes, cityscape, and floral while using a wide range of media. I want to create a visual journey for others to experience how I see the world, sort of story telling. I use Pen and Ink, Acrylics, Oil, Watercolors, Colored Pencils, Pastels, Quilting, Collage...almost anything I can get my hands on. There is a great source of inspiration all around. I try to be detailed and careful. When I'm not being crafty, I spend my time listening to music, reading, cooking, and most of all living my life with my five children.
