Artist Statement I paint for joy, for friends, for sanity. I continue to learn and grow as an artist, by taking workshops, reading all I can and painting everyday. My incentive has been fueled by joining the WetCanvas Cyber Artists group http://www.wetcanvas.com/ , whose members are full of insite, encouragement and support. Using this fabulous resource, I have also started dabbling in pastels and have taken up the colored pencil once again, but watercolor remains my first love.
