Description This is the second in a series of paintings I created for a story I wrote in college (RISD) about a girl named Wanda that was a bit obsessed with watermelons. The original was done in acrylic and watercolor on Arches paper. There was nothing that Wanda loved more than her melon,To her is was sweeter than her favorite aunt Helen. It's all she would eat, day after day,While others around her would laugh and they'd play. She'd been warned many times by her big sister Nelly,'Don't eat the seeds! They'll grow in your belly!'
