Artist Statement Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1972, Marina started painting at the age of six. Working mostly with oils and experimenting with any mediums she could get her hands on and wining international competitions until her focus switched to still lives at the age of eleven. Moving to New York in 1986 Marina continued her studies at the School of Visual Arts and The Fashion Institute of Technology and launched her career in commercial art working as an art director, graphic designer, illustrator and commercial interior designer. Twenty years later, Marina works as a creative director and is still painting.
