Artist Statement Hello,

My name is Alexandre Pieussergues. I was born in 1971 in France and I have been living since 2011 in Dublin, Ireland. An island where the warmth and friendliness of the Irish people and the diversity and beauty of the landscapes are a feast for the photographer, videographer and painter. Sometimes time seems to have stopped still away from megacities and their hyperactivity.

Practicing photography for over 20 years, I started at the era of silver films and went through the required field of developing and printing in the darkroom. Since 2002, I have been using Nikon digital reflex offering a range of infinite possibilities in terms of shooting and post-processing. The images in the gallery are a small sample of my world and my photographic style...
