Artist Statement I am a commercial/fine art photographer based in southwest Missouri. My studio is an old rebuilt barn situated in the Ozark hills. Before moving to Missouri, I worked as an Art Director and Creative Directorin advertising agencies in Chicago.

As a photographer I am inspired by images that have a surreal storyline or subtext. Also, fabulous lighting. A friend at my studio once described my work as hyper-realistic, which I think fits much of what I like to achieve in my work. I love to super compose, plan and light the scene, but I like for the figures to seem natural and realistic in their setting. However unnatural it may be.
