Artist Statement Welcome to my gallery at Imagekind! I’m Ellen and live in the Netherlands. I’m a digital artist who specialize in photo manipulation to create art.
I create fine art and photographic art with an emphasis on color, light and texture. My digital painting commissions accepted worldwide for paintings of pets, people and more.

My digital art isn’t one push on an button, but its hand painted using Wacom Intuos tablet and the software Corel Painter and CS5. My paintings involves long hours of creativity and focus. The result is a colorful, upbeat, high quality digital painting with a stylistic flair all of it’s own.
Every painting can be reproduced and custom framed to your specifications.

I am inspired by the world around me from the beauty and simplicity that surrounds in my life. I’m fascinated by the idea that I can take an ordinary photograph — capturing a fleeting moment in time — and transform it into a lasting work of art.
Animals have always been an important part of my life and are a constant pleasure and inspiration. I adopt many times pets from the pet rescue organization in Rotterdam. For now I have 5 dogs from very small till very large.
