Description The inspiration for this design is a wonderful early 17th century Edo period Japanese folding screen that shows a raucous group of crows involved in a dynamic moment of their lives. The original, now housed in the Seattle Art Museum is part of the Eugene Fuller Memorial Collection. The media is black ink on gold leaf applied to a paper base. Covington Art studio has taken great pains to replicate the details of the original work, beginning with vectors objects later filled with multiple textures and colors that are faithful to the vibrant colors of the screen as it looked more than three centuries ago.
