Christine is based in the UK and produces original oils, acrylics and pastels of florals, landscapes and occasionally other subjects. Having painted for many years, it is only now that she has decided to offer prints from her growing collection of pictures. Christine spent many years with landscape before turning to flowers in 1998 as an alternative, and a break from routine. Since then she has completed a wide variety of work in an equally wide variety of media. Although oils and pastels remain favourites, she has also used coloured pencils, acrylic inks and gouache. Floral shapes and gestures are the main important features that Christine looks for. Occasionally a real close-up view will reveal fascinating abstract shapes, hidden structures and curves. Landscape subjects are usually chosen for their drama, and Christine especially likes dark, cloud-filled skies and anything with water. There will be a mix of traditional and more modern styles. As the online collection increases, each image will be assessed for it's popularity and quality, and adjustments made where required, to ensure that the final print is pleasing.
