I just love to take a few minutes at the end of the day and watch the sunset. And when it sets over the water it is just heaven. Perhaps that is why I moved to Door County in Wisconsin. Here the sunsets are spectacular. Many of the sunsets are specific to Door County and have recognizable landmarks in the distance. Others could be from anywhere. I usually take photographs of sunsets and work from there. They change so quickly that I can't paint that fast. But the photographs only get me started. I will often enhance the design of the clouds and push the colors to make my interpretation of the sky that evening.
