This is the second in a series of Wave Paintings. This is an abstract interpretation of: wave, ocean, storm, heat, tropics, seacsape. I am fascinated with the brilliant colors one sees in the tropics. The concept of the wave has strong significance for me in my life. This is not literal, nor do I work from photographs. The brush work is loose and gestural. I am expressive in my use of line. This is an abstract seascape, but it could resemble anything. Some people interpret this as a mountain.
