Artist Statement Photography is my creative outlet. My "day" job is a tax accountant, so the stress can really build, especially around April 15. When I get out to see the world from a different frame of reference (behind the camera lens), I can get lost in the moment .... for many moments!!
I work out of my home office and have one son at home (age 16) and another out on his own, living with his girlfriend and their son. I'm now finding I have more time for activities I enjoy, which besides photography include hiking, biking, travelling, dancing, reading & music.
Our town has a (juried) Fine Arts Fiesta every May and this year I entered four pieces which accepted and three sold. It was my first sale and I was thrilled. I'm now energized to devote more time to this passion.
