DescriptionOne of the nicest things about autumn, is the colour change. Just before the fields turn to a sludgy brown for the winter, the farmers gather the hay. While the shape of bales and stacks of hay may have changed, the tradition of the autumnal harvest hasn't. Taken in Scotland, October 2007.These warm autumnal shades would work well in any room with a lot of wooden furniture - a small study, or over a kitchen breakfast table, or in a guest room.
K Mitchell, Scotland Member Since October 2007 Artist Statement
I gave up my job, to start again... I'm currently studying photography in Glasgow. I have three current favourite formats of photography - digital, 35mm film, and medium format.
Remember any prints bought will go to help fund an impoverished student. For every small sized print you buy, I will be able to afford a single roll of film. In return, you will receive a beautiful print, plus the potential of a nice warm glow deep inside, from having helped a struggling artist. The latter isn't guaranteed, however, but it is a possibility.
Please take some time to browse my prints, and see if there's anything here you like, or you think might suit a friend or relative as a gift.
