Artist Statement Ayane Gidada is an Ethiopian born contemporary artist who now resides in Los Angeles, California. Her work is heavily influenced by the country of her birth and
her childhood experiences.

Ayane had a strong artistic inclination and upon graduating from high school supplemented her raw talent with formal training at Parsons School of Design and Syracuse University where she graduated Cum Laude with Bachelors of Fine Arts. While at Syracuse she spent time studying fine arts in Florence, Italy.
