Description A breathtaking shot of 'Narrow Head' taken from the cliff footpath from the unique Cornish village of St Agnes in Cornwall (the West Country) in the UK.It is March 2008 so the gauze is flowering yellow . It is an odd combination of coarse uninviting thorns and the delicate soft petals of the bright yellow flowers which remind us of the hope of a new season of spring.Remarkably, this crisp sea was shot was taken approx 10 mins before an unexpected, gail force, black storm cloud, drenched the coast line and I was forced to run for safety.

Artist Statement Hi there,

I have had a love of photographing nature, especially landscapes and mostly the ocean and coastline since I was 7 years old.

I am considering putting together a portfolio of my "work" taken over the years and going semi-professional.

I was drawn to Cornwall in the Southwest of England where I chose to live in 2002 and now have the honour of living in a community full of vibrant and creative artists. St Agnes is full of numerous tiny studios which can be discovered by taking a 45 minute circular walk through the village.

Surrounded by such inspiration I am compelled to learn, be inspired and continue to share the beauty I see ever day, thanks to the Cornish coastline and the thrillingly unpredictable weather, which can turn from bright and calm to dark, mysterious and rugged in a matter of minutes.

Who knows, you may find me in a tiny studio in St Agnes in the years to come?
