Artist Statement I'm a scientist by trade, but I also have a creative side, and photography is the perfect outlet for that creativity.

I love macro photography, and most of my macro subjects are things found in nature. When was the last time you REALLY looked at a dandelion? When viewed up close, it becomes apparent that it is quite complex and beautiful. I hope that my photos inspire you to take a closer look at the world around you.
