Artist Statement Having been a serious amateur for 5 years I decided to join a professional photo studio in Northern Virginia. I shoot a variety of things for the studio including construction, commercial architecture and aerial photography as well as the occasional event. Joining the studio gave me invaluable experience and the ability to take my first flights in a helicopter.

My style and vision seems to suit the realm of photojournalism and that is where most of my goals lay. I have a need to do and see new things and routine is not something for me.

I want to continue to grow as a photographer/artist and that should keep me going the rest of my life. I decided from the beginning that I wanted to master all types of photography. At the end I want people to say I was a great photographer...not a great wedding photographer or a great portrait photographer...but a great photographer.
