Artist Statement I am a self taught artist living and painting in Northeastern Pennsylvania. At the age of twenty-three,
I opened a business called, "The Gallery", a quaint cocktail lounge where for 12 years I showed my
artwork while making a living mixing martinis. The Gallery begat, The Cosmic Train (1973), Adeline's, (1975),
and Backstreet Bar & Restaurant (1985). In between, I managed to paint and continually improve the
process and quality of my art.
I sold my last business in 2002 to devote the rest of my life as an artist painting quaint, secret and favorite places
whether real or imagined.
