Artist Statement My interest in art,especially wildlife art spans over 40 years. My original paintings and my limited edition prints have been exhibited in many galleries and shows nationally. I have won numerous awards for my paintings and commercial art projects. I studied at the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida and graduated with a BFA degree form The Memphis Academy of Arts.My early career was in the field of advertising and design illustration. For over thirty years I owned and operated , Nova Group Design studio in Nashville .

I was commissioned by a International Hunting and Fishing Outfitter to produce a series of game birds paintings and prints. For this project I traveled widely in Central and South America where i carefully researched my subjects and settings.
My interest in many outdoor conservation efforts has resulted in one of my paintings raising over fifty thousand dollars to help establish Radnor Lake as Tennessee's first Natural Wildlife Area.

In 1992 my wife and I built the "Blue Lake Ranch" in Mt.juliet, Tennessee which is a retirement and boarding facility for many horses. I work from my home studio where I paint daily.I am available for commissions from individuals or organizations.
