Artist Statement Have always loved sunrise and the beach, so you will see a fair amount of these pictures. I enjoy the Oranges in a sunrise and the Blues of the ocean, which makes me a Gators fan as well.( Go Gators) Love storms and the opportunities for picture taking that they bring, not to mention the power and force.

Living in Toronto has some advantages, like being 2.5 hours by plane from Orlando and Cocoa Beach, which to me, is really my home. Hence the location of Torlando.

Really haven't played much with the digital world of photography. Started out playing with a Sony DSC-071 camera a few years ago and then moved to a Canon A710is. In spring of 2008, I bought a Canon SX100is ( 10x Optical zoom ) None of these are the same as high end digital cameras, but for now, allow me to capture the moment in time as I see it and delete it, if i didn't see it, something my old film cameras did not allow. I'm still getting used to that concept. Sure do miss the " multi exposure " button on my film cameras though :-)

Generally, l prefer charting my own course in most things I do. I generally choose to be outside of the "box" when it comes to life, as most of the people I know and work with, tend to like the safety of being in the box. Though this may offer many advantages, they seem to miss the opportunities and adventure that being outside offers.

I hope you enjoy the photos that are presented as much as I enjoyed capturing them. Comments, good or bad are always welcome.
