Hello LOTE, Hello Everyone!
I was thinking that I'd discuss three of my images in this group, because it can sometimes be difficult to *see* the same things the photographer sees...
The "Demeter" images - A tree behind my home that has always fascinated me...in the past few years I started taking pictures of it because I love to show others what I see. If you look at "Demeter Rejoicing", I think you can more clearly see a face - a profile actually...when I look at this tree, I also see her hair flying behind her, branches become arms, the trunk of the tree continues to appear to me as a body-form. In the winter, Demeter laments (there is another picture named this way in my "Icy" gallery) - because Persephone has been taken away from her...the tree is bare, and Demeter's grief is apparent...then Spring arrives, and she begins to adorn herself in joyful response to her daughter's return. I so love this tree that has shown me its secret side!
"Iceman" - was shown to me when I looked at the photographs of the stunning icicles that came about after a storm here...they were so gorgeous that I couldn't stop myself from taking so many pictures...when I saw this one, a face appeared in the ice - if you look closely, I think you will see it as well. :D
Thank you for creating this group - it is such fun to be able to participate when we are given those magical moments to share!
Love & Light,
Roxy R.
