Kiddin'! Seriously, I just hope I can measure up - I do things in several different media; I have 1 deck so far developed that I have ALL of the images graphed out digitally (they are just roughs really), but I just CAN'T seem to get the *medium* right to render them in their final form.

They are a collection of images of Celtic antiquities - it's called "The Tarot of the Ancient Celts" - & I can't get farther than my rough collage/montages.

I started to render them in colored pencil - I have a *great* card-back & border I did - but I just don't know if the medium is serving the images well enough.

I am visiting my parents just now but am going home tomorrow - I will be sure to upload the completed drawn images that I have so far, maybe I could get some much-needed fb!

I am a very active member of Aeclectic Tarot; they have a sub-forum devoted to deck development, naturally enough - but I have to say that it really is a rather harsh prevailing atmosphere there, not at all kindly to new ideas! :( Especially if you don't have something that's like, uber-polished & commercial-looking.

Well, I'm thinking seriously of PAINTING these images, which would take *lot* more time than the drawings - but that's sorta the point, no? ;)

I am developing a deck in conjunction w/someone on AT - it is an Aussie deck, yes I am American but the imagery is quite a mix of things really, culturally-speaking.

I've been a member of AT since Nov. 2003.

So, looking forward to fb & discussions! :D
