This is a great forum! I started painting again after I started experiencing  neurological  problems about 6 years ago. I have had many diagnoses but they all generally return to probable MS. My goal is to paint as long as my body, or right arm specifically can handle it.

It is great to see all the other artists that have posted their "healing art" as well! I don't feel like I am fighting alone:)

I have to take Linda Galok (writers4rent) for her invitation to this group.

I have Lupus with central nervous system complications, and I really benefit from the time I spend creating art.  Sometimes my art is dark and moody, but you'll know I'm having a "bad body" day when you see these.  It helps me get out the frustration by abstracting the feelings into an artistic expression.  I'm so happy to be here with all of you.  I hope you will find the art I choose for this group to be soothing and healing as it is for me when I need to create a little world for my own personal escape.

My best to all of you, and again thanks for the invitation,

Debi Peralta
