Miami Beach's moveable lifeguard stands...
I've noticed in other images that lifeguard towers elsewhere seem to be permanently planted in place. Here in Miami Beach, our whimsycally decorated towers are on sled-like skids so they can be moved out of harms way in the event of a hurricane.
I'd love to see more varieties of these unique structures pictured here, so I've been inviting other members to add their photos of lifeguard stands!
