On Wednesday, October 7, the Cape Cod Viewfinders club will host a lecture by Chatham photographer Christopher Seufert at 7pm, Wednesday, October 7th at the Harwich Brooks Library Seufert will give a presentation entitled "Making the Leap from Amateur to Professional Photographer." Mr. Seufet will speak about his personal journey to become a professional photographer and how it evolved into publishing his works in three hard cover photography books, one of which will be released by Schiffer Publishing in the spring, 2010. He will also show a DVD presentation of his work with questions and answers to follow and will have some of his published books and posters to see and buy, at a discounted rate, during the break.
Christopher Seufert runs a photography studio and gallery on Main Street in Chatham. He specializes in portrait, wedding, aerial, and journalistic photography, also freelancing for the Cape Cod Chronicle newspaper. This winter he will exhibit a series of images, audio, and film images from his residencies in the Cape Cod National Seashore entitled "Dune Shack Life" at the Crane Gallery and the Cape Cod Community Media Center Visit his website to learn more about his work at Cape Cod Wedding Photographer.
