I have to admit, chickens were not anything special growing up. We owned them, but as kids, we didn't appreciate them. Just another chore, in our eyes.
However, as an adult, I took up photography, and have grown to appreciate these quirky creatures. Besides the beautiful range of hues that are displayed as the light shines upon their colored feathers, I find that my camera catches all sorts of expression in their faces. Suddenly, what used to be a boring old bird to me has become full of personality and perk. Now I love to run down to the neighbor's chicken house and peek in on these fantastic, yet I must admit- a bit odd-creatures.
So, how did you become interested in chickens?
Looking forward to hearing your experiences.
Blessings,
Jyvonne
