Artist Statement My art is made from scrying, mostly.

What is scrying?

wikipedia: "practice of looking into a translucent ball or other material" ..in order to see more and more and more..., "such as spiritual visions." The most common media used are reflective, translucent, or luminescent substances such as crystals, stones, glass, mirrors, water, fire, or smoke. Scrying has been used in many cultures in the belief that it can divine the past, present, or future."

Scrying is an ancient practice and still used widely by shamans and this is also the same category as spirit photography and the work of paranormal investigators.

Seers are scryers. Scryers are seers. It will open your 3rd eye.

Scrying is seeing into the "spiritual" or hidden aspects of the electromagnetic spectrum that the eye does not usually see, or that the brain often filters out.

I'm from upstate New York and east Texas and now live in Seattle.
