To portray a creature and its environment is a beautiful thing and for an artist to interpret and add their own touch goes beyond the photographic. It gets me to really look at nature in a way I would not do by wildlife watching alone. I want to develop the relationship between the subject and the environment and evoke a feeling of being part of the natural world.
