Artist Statement I am a former mathematician (I still dabble occasionally) and a computer programmer. Art helps me relax. I take many photographs and like to try to draw or paint every day if possible. I like landscapes and cityscapes, street scenes and effects of weather and light. Most of my paintings are watercolour, some with a lot of pencil, some with pen, or added pastel. I have also been using acrylics for a while, and just starting to try to learn how to do oils properly.
