Artist Statement Native to a more rural Cape Cod of the past, I appreciate the natural, simple beauty of New England life, and Cape Cod in particular.

I have been photographing anything and everything since I was child. My first camera was a hand-me-down (my mother's old 1957 Kodak Brownie). I quickly put it to use, constantly experimenting with light, movement, double exposures, etc. I later moved on to other cameras, of course, and still see beautiful things through my lens.

I have spent time all over the United States, and have recently returned to the Cape after spending seven years in a secluded mountain-top cabin located in Vermont. I still travel, so not all images shown for purchase are exclusive to Cape Cod. Thanks for viewing, and hopefully you'll find something you like. - Jeff Sampson
