Artist Statement Madeleine (Bachan Kaur) is a multi-dimensional artist. She is known for her painting, photography, film, singing, dancing and more. She feels that all forms of creative expression weave the seen and unseen worlds, integrating reality and liberating our being from the constant dualities of life. Creativity provides a sacred container for the expression of all things hidden below the surface and supports the restoration of wholeness.

She has an approach to art as a conscious prayer, a process of surrender and discovery. The very act of creation is her greatest teacher...learning to open, listen, receive, trust and allow life to come into being through the creative journey.

She paints, sings and dances to inspire herself and others.
It is her prayer to open portals of remembrance in our world through artistic offerings that allow the soul to journey into familiar lands of recognition, celebration and awe for all we have been, are, and are becoming.

Her focus is always evolving, though it remains rooted in the essence of our individual and collective hueman journey and experience.
Hence the name of her site, HUEMANBEING.
