Artist Statement Brian Hull is a photographic artist. Born in Providence in December 1972, his technical eye was developed while studying engineering for 5 years. Photography entered his life when he started working and apprenticing at the Camera Shop in Attleboro, MA. Brian currently resides in Providence, RI and is a partner in a photographic studio, Hull Grenier Studios, where he can continually develop and refine his uniquely artistic style. His work has been shown in numerous galleries throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts, including AS220, Gallery Z, the Attleboro Museum, Holden Street Gallery and the Space at Alice. Whether photographic landscapes, architecture, or still-lifes, Brian describes his work as an emotionally romanticized and surrealistic look at the human environment.
