She created a delicate underpainting of ach flower, then, using hand painted found collage papers and tissue, she collaged the flower and often a portion of the background. The results are simple yet dynamic paintings in complementary hues of pinks and greens, or purple and yellow, red and green etc, with subtle texture and pattern.
