Artist Statement The driving force in my art is imagination. Creating new worlds, environments and creatures that others can view and participate in is what fuels me as an artist.

Having been trained as an industrial designer at Art Center College of Design and being able to create products and vehicles that others had never seen or envisioned before was both exhilarating and challenging at the same time. Studying in the traditional mediums and learning perspective, layout, color and visual storytelling has been an extremely important part of my development as an artist today.

I have found that being a concept artist allows me be creative and use the tools of perspective, layout, color and visual storytelling to convey new worlds and ideas that will hopefully inspire others and their creativity. For the past 10 years I have worked primarily in the digital medium using programs such as Photoshop and Art Rage. The digital medium is a wonderful tool to create in and has influenced the way I approach art and design today.
