Artist Statement I was born in Jackson Mississippi, never lived there though. I consider Baton Rouge Louisiana to be my home. I've always enjoyed art my whole life, drawing was my favorite method of artistic expression for a long time. I began to play around with oil pastels in 2003, which led to oil paints. I immediately began painting non-stop. Today, I paint several types of styles and subject matter. I really enjoy mixing surrealism and cubism. Impressionism is also a style that I employ sometimes. As far as subject matter goes, I like to paint cityscapes, landscapes, musicians, people, nature, and a little abstract here and there.
