Artist Statement I work as a research horticulturist at the Memorial University of Newfoundland Botanical Garden located in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. I have always worked in the botanical/horticultural industry. I am a passionate gardener; indoors I grow orchids while outside, I concentrate on alpine plants. I am also an avid bird-watcher. This hobby has brought me to many parts of the world where I keep a photographic journal of the local flora, fauna and scenery.
