Artist Statement Vincent Franco studied life drawing, impressionist landscape painting and commercial art in Zimbabwe at the Salisbury School of Art. He later moved to Cape Town and completed a diploma in photography and also worked in a private ceramics studio where he explored sculpture of the human form.

Franco subsequently spent 18 years working extensively for European based television advertising campaigns and feature films as well as print campaigns for fashion and glamour. He has also obtained various other professional qualifications including public health care and real estate. He is currently collaborating on various creative projects, including film and animation and preparing selected works for exhibition and publication.

When commenting on his mixed career path Franco points out that “Everything in creation is connected - science and art; dreams and technology; magic and knowledge etc. No THING exists alone in isolation and by itself.
