Description The whacked out face that started it all. Is that a lit pipe I see, or a moustache and cheek? Is your right eye popping out of your head? Why is your frown sewn shut tight with words? And please, please tell me you're not crying. Whatever it takes, just remember, no sweat: when life gives you lemons, grin and grit it. This image has been modified from the original Indian ink drawing. It is now solid black with a red cheek, and has been beveled slightly to give the image depth. This image can also be viewed without the bevel or red cheek. Grin and Grit 2009
Benjamin Kai Reimer-Watts, Wroclaw Member Since October 2009 Artist Statement I am a 22-year-old young man who wants to build a career as a full-time artist. I recently graduated from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Nova Scotia, Canada, and am now working to set up shop! Please feel free to check out a wider selection of my hand drawn graphic design work on my homepage, www.grinandgrit.com. Over time I hope to have the majority of it available for sale as artist prints on this site. My artist statement is also available on the site, as well as links to retail outlets currently carrying my work. Please be patient as it will take some time before this site is fully functional. You can also contact me with any comments etc. through that site.
