Artist Statement Sport was my first love, music second and then photography. As I can no longer run about and I've concluded I am tone deaf I have turned to photography as I can still just about see the images on the screen on the back of the camera! If you've read this far you've probably gathered I'm a bit of a joker, but in all seriousness I now have a passion for photography as never before. I do have a bit of a photographic background in that shortly after leaving school I went into working for my brother who had opened a one hour lab/shop. I learnt a bit about processing and printing, dark room work and customer service. After a couple of years there I decided the snow was whiter in the French Alps and in a roundabout way got a job in a bar there. The snow then melted and I came back down to earth with a bump..... I had to get a real job again. I got lucky and went to work for another one hour lab/shop fairly local where I met and worked with a genuine good old SLR photographer who ran the lab and helped me understand a lot more about photography and to whom I am truly grateful and indebted to. I now enjoy photograhy as a holiday pastime as you will see in my photos. Enough said now so sit back and enjoy the photos so to speak. Hope you like them, all comments are welcome, good or bad.
