DescriptionThis is a HDR (High Dynamic Range) image composed of three separate shots taken at -1, 0, +1 exposures and then combined and tonemapped in Photomatix. It looks best when printed on Epson Enhanced Matte paper without any sort of glass or plexi cover when matted and/or framed.
Michael Paggie Member Since January 2008 Artist Statement Most of my work is HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography. Three or more images are taken in succession with exposure settings of at least -1, 0, +1 so that a more complete tonal range of a particular scene is captured. A camera that features exposure auto-bracketing makes the process easier to accomplish. There are a few software programs available that allow you to merge the images and then tonemap them, among them Photomatix which is my program of choice.
