Artist Statement I was born and raised in Eyjafjörður on the north shore of Iceland in a town called Akureyri. Although the island in the north is amazing I've always had a passion for discovering things outside it as well :) For the last 12 years my carrier and life focus has made me change my address 12 times in several different countries including Iceland, Sweden, Denmark, USA, Canada and now at last in Austria. I recently moved to Innsbruck after living in Vancouver, BC with my significant other who is from Tyrol, Austria. I have always had a strong passion for the outdoors, I like to spend my free time hiking, skiing, kayaking or ice climbing in remote places and the camera is always close by on those trips. As my life focus revolves a lot around the west coast of Canada, Iceland and the Austrian alps, most of my pictures that I will post will be landscape shots from these locations.
