Artist Statement

I am a generative artist based in New York City. The pixel is my pencil and the programming language is my canvas. The algorithms used to generate the images are my technique.

My work has been used in cover art for books and magazines and was recently featured in a Processing article in Eye Magazine. I have also been presented in the LA Center of Digital Arts and the NY Museum of Computer Arts in 2008. I have also participated in The Hague's TodaysArt09 full-building wallpaper presentation.

Appreciation for art came at a young age. I was considering a career in art right before I chose a career in the world of technology. After years of working with computers and other devices, I have finally found a way to merge the two things that I feels passionate for: technology and art.

Art is healing. Art is a way for me get in touch with the core of my soul even if the path leads me through cold-hearted road of technology.
