Artist Statement My mom has always had pix of our family hanging on the walls and taken us (my younger brother & I) to art exibits, photography, painting..... Her siblings were split up when she was born, b/c her mother was very sick when she gave birth to my mom, she died 6 months later. Anyway, to make a long story short, my mom has 1000's of pix , some she took, some she didin;t. I can't remembe a time when I didn't have some sort of camera in my hand. I love to take pix of everything! It drives my husband, son & a lot of people crazy, but after they see the pic a little later on , they say, "Oh!, I'm so glad you took that picture. It's really good, can I have a copy?" HUH. So I'm going to take some classes & perhaps become a professional, that would be the best career ever! These pix in my gallery were taken w/ a little L11 COOLPIX 6.0 megapixels, ISO 800, 2.4 inch LCD. It is my 1st digital "practice" camera before I upgrade to a more professional camera. I had a '95 Nikon 35mm, but the photo shop, said I might as well start over, for what it would cost to fix the battery area/connections in my "old" 1995.
