Artist Statement Time and cost never permitted me to become more than a casual 'picture taker'. Documenting the growth of a family was rewarding but fairly limiting.

I have found that digital photography has allowed me to explore more of the aspects of light, composition and color than ever before. Lenses and filters provide a way to express a compromise between the visual and the imagined. God has given us a tremendous and ever-changing world...in photography we should document its beauty.
