Artist Statement I haven't yet delved into studio photography and constructed shots as of yet, and I'm not too sure i ever will really. I enjoy taking natural candid shots of cityscapes, landscapes when I can find them, and the little nuggets of urbania that fall by the wayside. The stories and expressions that are found all around me prove enough so far.

While being around a 3-year old photographer i'm also a 9-year old poet, and have of late gotten more comfortable sharing words alongside my imagery; the words that i always hear when i'm taking the picture. I would love to have prints with space for accompanying poems should anyone want to have them. It makes me smile when someone's expression changes after looking and reading my "work".

Altogether, i am still very young with a lens and would be more than thrilled if people didn't buy anything but still took a look and maybe threw some criticism (constructive or not, i'm not too choosy yet) my way.

More shots (mostly not worth money) can be found on my flickr page http://www.flickr.com/photos/sashdc/, so if you've bothered to read this little spell, please take a look. I'd appreciate it.

now go have some cake, it'll make you feel good
