Artist Statement I create art the way I play music. I improvise on the fly. I call it visual jazz. Or image taffy. Sometimes I take my nature photos and tweak the heck out of them until they become something else. Other times, I create from simple sketches and build from there. The digital realm enables me to twist, mirror, stretch, layer, try different colors and generally 'play' until I see something I like. Hopefully, it evokes some feeling in you, the way it does in me.
