Artist Statement I am a Senior Graphic Designer working out of NYC. I have been drawing cars since I was 5. My dad's friend, and neighbor, Rick Boylston raced a blue 240z in SCCA in the early 80's and would show my younger brother and I how to draw cars and planes. Fast forward 30 yrs and I'm still drawing cars.

In the late 80's I fell in love with the Porsche 914. My dad referred to it as "the poor mans Porsche", but had a friend that would swap in 911 sixes and swore by them. I saved my freelance money for 3 years and at age 35 bought my first 914; a yellow '75 1.8. The illustrations here are actual cars owned by members of 914world.com and the 911 is my dad's. Each illustration took me about 30 hours to create using Adobe illustrator and Photoshop.
