Description An archetypal image of desert mysticism, the spirit of Coyote sings heart and soul to the full moon of the desert Southwest. As you move closer to the image, delicate variations in intensity come to life, drawing you further into the mystical quality of the painting. Choose a print on Somerset Velvet and display under UV-protective glass for the best reproduction of the lustrous quality of the honey-based watercolor paints. Misha BearWoman Metzler, Prescott, Arizona Member Since May 2009 Artist Statement Welcome. I’ve been creating art since writing my first two songs at the age of 9. That was the beginning of life-spanning acts of creation that have expressed through many different mediums.
I strive to express the commonalities of the human spirit and the human experience within the limits of my medium and through the limits of my human form. I often combine the spiritual and the physical in ways that remind us we don’t have to be monks to bring the quality of soul into our daily lives.
