Artist Statement Originally from California, I studied performing and visual art in college. During my under graduate years I spent time in Florence, Italy studying drawing, painting, and design. I continue to find inspiration through travel today, as well as in nature, dance, and feminine iconography. I especially love the aesthetic in near and far eastern cultures, with a particular affinity for Middle Eastern art and dance. When it comes to the performing arts, I am equally comfortable in front of or behind the curtain, I am also an experienced stage manager, with additional skills in costuming, set construction, and lighting.
